Privacy Policy
April 2026
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use knithub.
Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and optional profile information such as your avatar, occupation, and location. We also collect the charts and content you create on the platform. Basic usage data, such as pages visited and features used, may be collected to improve the service.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide and improve the knithub service. This includes displaying your profile and charts to other users, sending you important account notifications, and analyzing aggregate usage patterns to enhance the platform. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
Cookies
knithub uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences (such as theme and language), and understand how the platform is used. For more details about the cookies we use and how to manage them, please visit our Cookie Preferences page.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytical purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information in your account settings or request a full data export. To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us. We comply with GDPR requirements for users in the European Union.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate knithub: a cloud hosting provider for our infrastructure, Sentry for error and performance monitoring, SimpleAnalytics for privacy-friendly, cookieless usage statistics, and IPinfo for approximate, IP-based location. Some of these providers (Sentry and IPinfo) are based in the United States, so using knithub may involve transferring limited technical data — such as your IP address and error diagnostics — outside the EU under appropriate safeguards. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy and processes your data only as needed to provide its service. We do not share your personal information with advertisers, nor do we sell your data.
Privacy Questions
If you have questions or concerns about your privacy, please reach out through our Contact page. We take privacy seriously and will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
